There is a giant in my room!

Random thing of the day:

Last night there was a giant in my room. I'm guessing it had gone about 2 in the morning when I finally decided enough was enough I must go to sleep. So I lent over and flicked the switch on my lamp that is pirched on my bed side table. Suddenly there was an almightly rumble that shook my entire room!

I have never encounted a Giant before! well to be honest I still am yet to meet the notorious giant that lurks deep beneath my bed or bedside table (not to sure where he is hiding). I have heard stories though, of one of the most memoriable stories being 'The BFG' what a scary but wonderful story.

Within seconds of the almighty rumble. I quickly switched my lamp back on. And to my suprise the giant had dissapeared without a trace....

Quote of the day:

''I am accustomed to sleep and in my dreams to imagine the same things that lunatics imagine when awake.'

Rene Descartes

NEWS OF THE DAY:

Dreams for me play a big part of which makes me, me. I have a such an imagiative mind which cannot always be itself during the day (I think if it did people would start to look at me funny, more than they already do now). But at night it is let loose to create crazy and beautiful things...

Here is an artist who I think represents dreams fantastically. The bizarre images she creates are very calming she does this by using very tranquil colours that seem to sooth you.

Jane Gifford, for the past decade she has been recording her dreams in writing, painting, printing, drawing and video.

In this particular image it feels to me as if it should be in slow motion. It intrigues me how dreams are just so random!

I remember when I was younger and how I used always insist on telling my dad about the crazy dream I had the night before. His reply was always ''channan you need to keep a book beside your bed to record your dreams first thing in the morning while its still fresh in your mind'' I always answered with ''yea, I should really.''

I never did though... maybe I should start now?
